Carnival in Venice

Hello!!!
I'm back with a crafty project. I was challenged by the Prima Doll Mania, a Brazilian Facebook Group, to create a project using a Julie Nutting doll inspired by the Venetian Carnival.
I did some research and came out with this tag.

Love the history behind this challenge and I really want to create a project using a male stamp for this challenge. So... I hope to have some free time to do so.

Hugs, Laila.

Feather Crown Card

Hello!!!
I'm here to show you my latest card. I was inspired by the Blue Bingo challenge at Allsorts Challenge Blog, where we had to choose a line at their Bingo chart.

I choose the line: Add Dimension + Blue and Yellow + No Design Paper and I ended up using Dry Embossing + Stenciling too!
I colored my image, a Saturated Canary Digital Stamp, with my Prismacolor Premier Pencils, and
I added a lot of embellishments to form this beautiful cluster next to the image.

Christmas Tag

Hi there!!!
I'm here to show you my latest project, a Christmas tag inspired by the Prima Doll Mania's (Brazilian Facebook Group) current challenge. We were challenged to create a project using non-traditional Christmas colors. So I made my tag using pink, light green and gold.
I used Julie Nutting Zoe die and stamp set....Since I'm having a hard time getting a good impression with the doll stamp... I decided to use only the dies and with my  Prismacolor Premier pencils I did some shading.
Her wings were also die cut, using Tim Holz Angel Wings, by Sizzix. And to add some interest I embossed it.
I embellished the tag with some stitching, paper flowers, burlap, sequins, leather, ribbon and die cuts.

I made her a metal halo..... Love it!!!
And as a final touch... a lot of ink splatters and glitter.

Christmas in October

Hi there!!!
I'm here to share my latest card... I was inspired to make a monochromatic Christmas card.
I've used the sweet Tilda With Saffron Buns stamp, by Magnolia, paper pieced her outfit and colored her with my Prismacolor Premier pencils.
Used some tree die cuts to create a scene and embellished the card with stitching, lace, ribbon and half-pearls.
And... love the way it turned out!!!

Hope you liked too!!!

Latest Projects

Hello everyone!!!
Just a quick update on my blog... with some projects I've made a while ago and  posted in some facebook groups. I just wanted them here too!!!
The first one is a card I've made for my 6 years old daughter.

The second project is a tag I've made for a crafty friend, her birthday was last month. And she was expecting a handmade card/tag. So I made this one inspired in the Spring.

And the last one, is a guest designer project for a facebook group. I was invited to host a challenge.
On this card I've used a flower patterned stencil and ink in the background and I loved the way it turned out. Very subtle and sweet!

Thanks for visiting!
:)
